Gateway to Huis ten Bosch Palace
This print shows the entrance gate of Huis ten Bosch Palace in The Hague. In the 17th century, this building was a summer residence for Frederik Hendrik of Orange. In the 18th century, the palace was inhabited by Prince William IV of Orange-Nassau. The Oranjezaal (Orange Room), with its many monumental paintings, can also be found in this palace. Today, it is the residential palace of King Willem-Alexander and his family.
