Description

The City Cannon and Bell Foundry, Lijnbaansgracht corner Gietersstraat 1780.

The City Cannon and Bell Foundry was built in 1614 as a foundry. In 1872, the factory burned down, but the warehouses were spared. The building has served various functions such as a steam flour mill, grain silo, multi-tenant business building, wood flour factory, etc. In 1903 and 1934, the building was again hit by fire; at the end of the 20th century, the entire complex was converted into an apartment complex. Would you like to admire the old Cannon Foundry on your wall? Then you've come to the right place! We offer this design on canvas, plexiglass, and as a poster.
