The Groninger Museum
The Groninger Museum is one of the city's most visited attractions. That is why this is also the second activity that we recommend! The museum has been there for more than 25 years and in the meantime has built up a considerable art collection from the Stone Age to modern art. FC Groningen Stadium
The last activity we recommend is a visit or tour of the FC Groningen Stadium. The official name of the stadium is the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadium and of course has one leading function and that is to be the home base for the pride of the North 'FC Groningen'. In addition to a stadium, it also functions as a sports accommodation, residential apartment, cinema hall, shopping center and casino!
FC Groningen is a stable sub-topper in the Eredivisie and has produced many great football players in its history. In the past you should think of names such as Jan van Dijk, Peter Houtman and the Koeman brothers. In the more recent past, some of the world's top performers have shown their arts in the north of the Netherlands.
