The Waalbrug is a 244-meter-long arch bridge over the Waal river. The total length of the bridge is 604 meters. The bridge has lanes for buses, cars, cyclists, and pedestrians. Due to heavy traffic on the Waalbrug, a second traffic bridge was opened next to it: De Oversteek.
