De Kuip is the second living room of every Feyenoord fan. And actually every football fan in the Netherlands must have visited this temple at least once in their life. The stadium designed by Leendert van der Vlugt was opened in 1937 and has been used over the years for ten European finals, the last of which was in 2002 when Feyenoord won the UEFA Cup in its own Kuip. The stadium was also used during Euro 2000, when five matches were played, including the European Championship final. |
Other cool Rotterdam activities are of course concerts! Over the years, De Kuip has also been a stage for concerts by greats in music: Prince, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Tina Turner, U2 and Pink Floyd are some of the artists who have performed at De Kuip.

You go through the tunnel onto the field, you can take a seat in the coach's chair in the press center and of course you get to see all the trophies in the club museum. The Euromast
Other Rotterdam activities that Rotterdam has to offer is the Euromast building. When you are in Rotterdam, it is not to be missed, because the Euromast is the highest tower in the Netherlands that is open to the public. With its 185 meters height you have a magnificent view over the whole of Rotterdam.
There is also a lot for you to do in the Euromast. For the tougher visitors, you can abseil from the Euromast at a height of 100 meters! You can also visit the brasserie for coffee and cake, lunch, brunch, high tea and dinner. You can also spend the night in one of the suites at the Euromast and enjoy a spectacular view over the city of Rotterdam!
